HSBC China

HSBC China was established in 2007 and was one of the first foreign banks to incorporate locally in mainland China. Its roots go back much further than this though. The current headquarters of HSBC China in Shanghai used to be the offices of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited which founded the HSBC Group who are the current owners of HSBC China.

HSBC China has 165 outlets in 52 mainland Chinese cities and it employs over 5,000 staff. Thirty of these outlets are branches while the rest are sub-branches. It offers personal banking services, business banking services, and corporate banking services. There are also private banking facilities for individuals of high net worth. Some of its products include wealth management, deposits, foreign exchange, and investments.
